Me And Aubrey At The Circus :)

So last night was Todd from my schools birthday and all he wanted to do was go to the circus. So I thought what a fun time if I took Aubrey and we would have a little date night. I'm so glad we did cause we had a complete blast!! The night started out by Todd and Aubrey riding an elephant. :) lol Little did I know that Todd has a "bucket list" and on his list was really riding an elephant.

So they bought their tickets. . . . Stood in line. . .

And. . . . rode the elephant. . . :) I think the look on all their faces shows how exciting it really was for both of them!! The best part about it was after they got off Todd went right to the sideline and pulled out the "list" and marked it off. I was so amused by the whole thing. I was so excited that I really got to witness that happiness of crossing off a goal he has always had. It really made me take a step back and really think about what I really want out of life so I'm going to make a "bucket list" and I want to cross things off too :)

During the rest of the circus we just had a blast. Laughing and being so amazed was so much fun. Aubrey even lost a tooth while we were there. I guess never a dull moment!! One of Todd's friends that was with us his name is Tyson. He is going to be on the upcoming Survivor and he was picked to go be a helper with a magic trick. He was so funny. They were suppose to be "sleeping" and he kept looking up and moving around and everything. He had us rolling!! But the highlight of the night was when the little pink and turquoise poodles came out. We were laughing so hard!! They were so dang cute!!! I wanted to take the little puppy and put him in my purse and take him home with me. So when the chance came up to get our pictures with the dogs for only $10 :) lol we took it!!!

They didn't get their kits till today and you wouldv'e thought that is was Christmas morning with 10 five year olds running around. They were so excited to get all their fun stuff and they are super excited to start doing hair. Today we did eyebrow and eye lash tinting and they had me laughing so hard. I think they had a good time!! Im really excited for them to break out their new kits tomorrow and do some real hair :) Im so loving my job right now and all the amazing students that I get to be with everyday. Im so lucky that I get to go to a job that I love and be around so many people that really care about each other!! Thanks Guys!!

Who. . . .

So with today not being the best day ever and me feeling a little down I know someone is watching over me. My grandpa sent me an e-mail that just hit the spot of me. It even made me shead a little tear cause it's so true. So I thought I would share it with you. . . .

There comes a point in your life when you realize

WHO matters

WHO never did

WHO won't anymore

And

WHO always will

So, dont worry about people from your past, theres a

reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Would've Been. . .

So this weekend has been really hard. I've been super down and not motivated to do anything. As I looked at my calender today I noticed that tomorrow would've been my 6 month anniversary. Wow 6 months. It seems like 6 years after everything we went through. I'm trying to stay positive and keep myself busy to keep my mind off of it but it still really hurts. I'm going to take this time in my life and look at it as a new beginning. To start living for just Jami. I'm going to make me happy and make my self the best person I can be. I'm going to be my #1 priority. I'm going to go to the gym more, put 110% more of myself in to my job, I'm going to hide out in my room and read more, and number 1 above everything is I'm going to make me happy. Not worry about running my life around someone else happiness. I've lived the last 6 months making sure someone else was happy and I was sad 95% of that time. NO MORE!! It's all about me now.

Sad

So today was a good day. I took the day off of work and spent it with my mom and sister and we went Christmas shopping. It was so nice to spend the day with them and just be silly. I got really sad during the day though. Usually this is my favorite time of year and I just love to take in all the lights, music and everything else that makes the holidays so cheerful. But it is different this year. Instead im sad trying to make everyone else happy. Its so hard being pulled in all directions. All I ever wanted was to be happy and be surrounded by everyone I love. I guess it just can't be that easy.

Sisters Night In Wendover!!

Last Saturday my sister and I had the best night ever!! The day started when we met up with some friends for lunch. It was so great to catch up with them and see how much has changed in the time we've been apart. Its so crazy how things change so fast. After lunch we drove to my work in Orem and had the funniest "freeway" experience ever :) lol

And then the real fun began. . . Ever since I was a little girl I remember my mom and her friends getting all dolled up to go to Sawyer Brown concerts and my sister and I would just sit there and wait till the day we could be old enough to finally go with them. To this day they still go all over the United States following these guys and we still just wait for our turn to get to go with them. So this time we did what any good daughter would do. Mom had to go to Dad's company Christmas party, where she won the "best dressed" award :) lol. . . . Love ya Mom. . . and Mary's youngest son was getting married that day. So we filled the car with gas and headed for Wendover!!!

When we got there we met up with our friends, that we actually met a couple years before right there in Wendover, Janae and Brent. They are so much fun to hang out with and they helped make our night even that much more fun!!

Mom was super sad she didn't get to go and her only request was a picture of her two girls with Joe and Shane. Which I had no problem doing that for her. Specially with Shane :)

Moms other request was that they DON'T play a christmas song. But it was a concert in December and they were getting ready to do Christmas concerts laster that month so they gave us a little teaser. We made sure to call mom so she could listen to them. I think we made her night a little better.

After the concert we sat with Joe and talked and laughed and had the best entertainment no money could buy! It was really one of the best nights. I love hanging out with my sister. She is my best friend. We don't get to do much together with her busy life with her husband, kids, and job. And with me always working our time together is limited so I really cherish our times together alot. Im looking forward to our next crazy adventure!! Thanks Bri. . . Love you!!
